Disclosure of change in shareholdings pursuant to Chapter 9, Section 10 of the Securities Markets Act

The Bank of Åland Plc (Ålandsbanken Abp) has received a notification, pursuant to Chapter 9, Section 5 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act, according to which the percentage of voting rights held by Wiklöf Holding Ab in the Bank of Åland Plc as of May 14, 2019 has exceeded 25 per cent. 

After the transaction Wiklöf Holding Ab (directly and indirectly) owns a total of 2,917,927 shares, which comprise 18.79 per cent of the total number of shares and 25.47 per cent of the total number of voting rights in the Bank of Åland Plc.

On March 22, 2019, Wiklöf Holding Ab’s direct shareholding in the Bank of Åland Plc fell to 9.999837 per cent of the total number of shares in the Bank of Åland Plc as a consequence of a targeted share issue.
